About Dr. Vyas
Dr. Phoram Vyas is a board-qualified surgeon who specializes in forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle surgery. Her areas of expertise include diabetic limb salvage, sports medicine, and trauma. She takes a patient-centered approach, tailoring each visit and treatment plan to the patient's individual needs and goals while emphasizing clear communication.
Originally from Dallas, Dr. Vyas earned dual bachelor's degrees in biology and business administration from The University of Texas at Dallas. She then attended Midwestern University's Arizona College of Podiatric Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree with academic honors and was inducted into the Pi Delta National Podiatric Honor Society.
Dr. Vyas completed her podiatric medicine and surgery residency at Hunt Regional Medical Center in Texas. Her training provided extensive clinical and operative experience in foot and ankle trauma, reconstructive surgery, diabetic limb salvage, and minimally invasive surgical techniques.
Committed to service, Dr. Vyas participated in two medical mission trips to San Miguel de Allende during her residency. She remains actively involved in professional organizations, and her scholarly work includes peer-reviewed publications and presentations at medical conferences.
Outside of work, Dr. Vyas enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and cat. Her interests include hiking, reading, and watching movies. Dr. Vyas is fluent in Hindi and Gujarati.
